Xifta

Summary

Xifta was a side project by Vincent Hjert and myself. Vincent and I met each other working for one of the worst companies in Berlin. They will remain nameless as they're that bad! Anyway, Vincent and I used our spare time together to create this little chrome extension. When using Youtube or Spotify it would grab discogs data and event data from Songkick and show you this next to the artist or song you were listening to. It was a great project to get to know each other and showed that we could work together on a proper production-ready application. We even held weekly refinement sessions on the weekend and practiced kanban processes to help us get the project to completion. This would be a good exercise for when we entered the Lukso Hackathon together, which you can read about here.
